I have a campsis in a 14" pot to keep it manageable, as I am limited for space. It's now 4yrs old and never flowered well although grew quite tall with lots of leaves. Last year I started feeding with tomato food as soon as the leaves started to appear but got less than 5 flowers. A few weeks ago I pruned it down to approx 2-1/2 feet and new growth now appearing. What can I do to improve flowering? Any advice greaty appreciated.
