I haven,t grown tomatoes for years, but when I did I used to grow an old variety called " moneymaker ", not too big, but lovely tasting, and nice even ripening.

I have exactly the same situation, Miner. I have asked around and been told that "Principe Borghese" should fit the bill, so that's what will be planted this year, along with Ferline.

Ferline is an F1 seed and was recommended by someone on this site, and is available from Thompson and Morgan, Principe Borghese is an Italian tomato - you can get the seed in England, I'm sure - try googling it, Miner. Message received loud and clear by the way.
