I bougt a hebe and decided to keep it in the house through the winter to plant early spring. I have kept it on kitchen window sill but it looks like it is dying. Can you give me any advise for it survival :)
Thank you

move it into a cooler room, with good light. I think the heat in the kitchen is the ain enemy. have you been over watering or forgetting to water it? Do you have a well lit porch? if yes then out there wud be a good choice too.

or the plant hokey-cokey? outside on non frosty days and back inside on the night..... and repeat :o)

Welcome to GoY Anitat. I think hebes like to be outdoors, so suffer a bit when kept indoors

Yes agree with the above, the kitchen is the wrong place for it, try and acclimatise it back to the outside and if we get a severe snap give it some protection, plant out in the spring when no frost is present, you will find the hebe family are very tough and go through winters without any problems, However last winter most of my clients lost all their hebe's this was though exceptional weather with temps here in the east mids averiging around -8 for most of Dec 10, once planted it should do ok and if in future winters we have extreme weather then i would give the plant some protection.
