Hydrangeas

Can we dead-head our Hydrangeas now-we live in South London and the front garden faces south and the back north. We have a 3 or 4 medium size bushes in both.
Thank you

Hydrangea heads should be left on for the winter and removed when the likelihood of frost has passed or new leaf growth is appearing. In which case chop the stems just above the tallest new leaf.

I've done mine, too, in Somerset. London should be fine!
