make a bigger hole in your bucket ? oops , wrong kind of leak???sorry

When my husband plants out the seedlings he digs a hole and puts the seedling into it, and then doesn't fill in with soil but instead pours water into the hole so it pulls the soil in around the tiny plant. It seems to work and we have a good crop this year!

and remember to earth them up so that you get more of the white stem.
