Can anyone help me identify this fern please?

It looks like Maidenhair Spleenwort (Asplenium trichomanes) at first sight, but apparently the stalks are black which yours don't seem to be. Another possibility is the Maidenhair Fern, but I don't have detailed information about that one, Gillian, although I believe it's an indoor plant.

Thanks Bernard, the Spleenwort looks like a strong possibility. I have posted another picture of it on my photos which shows a little better detail.

I think it may be a blechnum (also known as Hard Ferns)

I just looked at some of the blechnum pictures and I think the leaves are longer on that, the leaves on mine seem quite rounded. Maybe they change as they get older?
