Welcome to GOY!

There is nothing that will kill the grass and not the cotoneaster. If you can get glyphosate onto the grass without getting it on the shrubs leaves that will do the trick, but be careful!

Do not put your email address or personal details on the open site. You can put them in a private message to one person if you wish.

If you put neat plant food or manure on top of the soil - that will 'burn' the grass and kill it off. The Cotoneaster should not be affected, apart from getting some fertilizer.

Don't you think couch grass would survive that? Worth a try anyway.

How do I say thanks?
