personaly i wouldnt use them generaly as if there part of a living system ie goldfish etc they need to be reliable and you cant rely on the weather plus there a bit lacking in oomf like lots of battery powerd things are . there ok i guess for a bit of water movement but i wouldnt use one for a serious job.
