We are growing some potatoes in bags, some of them have produced stems and leaves that are about three feet high, they look very healthy but is this growing too much leaf as opposed to produce. Thankyou Andrew Rose

are they flowering yet? and do you know whether you planted an "early" variety or maincrop? Ours are a few diff sorts, and not all are even flowering yet.
Probably if the leaves look very healthy, that's an excellent sign.
