growing and cutting horseradish

This is a large plant a bit like a Dock. The long root is the part that you use for Horseradish sauce etc. Dig it up (it will snap off like a Dandelion root, but the bit left behind will regrow....like a Dandelion does!) wash it well and use as needed ie. grated into a sauce etc. The clump will increase in width with many crowns eventually so you'll never be without ( or rid!) of it.

It can be quite invasive I agree! However fresh Hosreradish sauce is something else, especially if you like a bit of heat!
