Why are my beetroot leaves gone brown,we water everyday bought from seedlings at a garden centre and planted about four weeks ago in a container outside

Were the seedlings growing outdoors when you bought them, or in a greenhouse? They might have needed to be hardened off.

As a very long shot, are you sure you aren't overwatering? Having soil too soggy can be almost as bad as having it too dry.
