Sweet Peas in an unheated greenhouse?

After watching Gardeners World a couple of weeks ago, they said "if you don't do anything else this week, make sure you sow your sweet pea seeds for an early start next year". So off I went to the garden centre and bought some seeds and put them in so that I would have some early plants for the coming year. Well, they have already come up and the roots are beginning to come through the peat pots. Surely this means that when we get frost, my new seedlings will die.
I have a greenhouse, but it is unheated. What now? As I am a novice gardener, any advice would be very helpful.

They will be fine in an unheated greenhouse, they are extremeley hardy! I grow mine this way every year and it means that come next spring you will have some strong little plants to put outside. Remember to pinch out the growing tip when there are about 4 true leaves, they will only grow slowly after their initial spurt, but will be fine through the winter.

I can only repeat andrea. Mine are kept in an unheated green house and they are fine. In fact I have two in the garden still in flower. I shall take some pic's tomorrow.

I did the same, but my packet told me to but the seeds in a propogator which I haven't got. Is this necessary?

I grow mine in 6 toilet roll tubes filled with compost and held together with a rubber band, (this stops them falling over). As well as growing 5 or 6 of them in a really deep pot's, the sort that climbers come in. These then go straight into the ground in the spring as a clump and do just fine.

Oh they always smell fantastic too.
