I have a hydrangea petiolaris about 3 years old and it has lately developed bronze patched and curled leaves it is on a North facing fence can you help?

Have you watered it well through this dry period? could it be the soil too alkaline yellowing leaves could indicate this, imprve the soil and feed with an ericacious feed for a while, it should perk up in time, julien.
