Dear All,

I have moved to North Wales and wondered if any of you may have an idea what plants i may need to buy for my new garden. The soil is good but the climate a little colder

Many thanks

I dont think it will be any cooler than we are in the N.E. and I can grow most things, Id have a look around in other people,s gardens and see what seems to grow well. Have you moved to a new garden? Im very nosey and love looking at other people,s gardens love to see yours lol.

Have yourself a great day out and visit Bodnant gardens near Llandudno. They have a great variety of plants that flourish there to give you some ideas, and you can also buy plants there as well as enjoy a meal in their restaurant. Enjoy!

And if you are into Alpines then definitely go to Aberconwy Nursery just below Bodnant. Exactly what a Nursery should be.
We find the prices at Bodnant to be very high though for plants available elsewhere at much lower prices.
Also if you are able try a look in at The Dingle Nursery near Welshpool for trees and shrubs.

Yes, Bodnant is pricey but good for making a list of wants!
And its a lovely day out.
