Hi
I understand that the inside of toilet rolls are good for growing beans/sweet peas etc. Does any body do this?. I used them for sweet peas and didn't get any germination!
If you think they are ok to use-should I plant out the whole thing rather than extricating the plants?
Any tips for growing sweet peas from seed?
I garden in the Lake District.

Toilet roll yubes should be OK for beens and peas, you just plant the whole thing when ready. I make newspaper tubes of about the same diameter as a toilet roll tube and find them excellent. You do need to keep them well moistened.
