Please could you tell me if it is too late to prune raspberries (I think they are a kind of raspberry, large fruit) that fruits late summer/early autumn. The bush is a few years old and has never been pruned so its a bit wild.

Autumn fruiting raspberries fruit on the canes produced in the current year,while summer fruiting ones fruit on last years canes. If you are sure they are autumn fruiting you can cut all the canes down to the ground now. If you aren't sure, maybe do it to half of them and see what happens?
