I live in South Africa and would like to send seeds to a friend in the UK. Are there any restrictions that I would be violating by sending seeds?

You should not have a problem I often buy bulbs from SA and never have any problems you do not need a Phytosanitary Certificate for seeds either

Double check South Africa's noxious weed list, just in case.

Thank you so much for your responses. I've got some seeds from Peppadews in my garden that I want to send over, so I'll just maybe "sneak" them in a letter & hope for the best. :-)

Masses but if you just put a few small packets of seeds in an envelope and post you 'might' get away with.
