Is it possible to grow a cordyline from a section of trunk.
As when the trunk is wet it makes roots grows, right?

Good drainage. Not too dry or wet. Probably from spring onwards.

I guess it is. I cut down an apparently dead cordyline last year and laid a long section of trunk on the ground and it sprouted new leaves.
