Flower name

Could you please identify this flower for me? It is growing in my garden and I have no idea what it is. Thank you.

hi there
It looks suspiciosly like ragwort which is a weed and is poisonous to cattle horses and rabbits;we have it growing wild on the local golf course and it spreads like wildfire.
If you pull it up it is best to burn rather than compost.
If you google it you can get a picture to compare.

I am fairly sure it is not Ragwort. but belongs to same family, try Senecio. It loooks rather nice so do chek it out before throwing it away.

Leaves are wrong for Ragwort. Senecio is more likely, also possible is Ligularia. Been a lot of name changing recently too.

Have a look at ligularia desdemona, it looks quite a bit like it.

How strange I posted this as an answer the other day, but it has not appeared. L. dentata Desdemona is what we have it as.
