Ross-Shire, Scotland

I had a shrub in Devon that was 6ft high x 3ft wide. app and was evergreen in Devon, I took cuttings of which 1 grew onto a small shrub of 36inches in diameter which I took with us when we moved. The plant shed some of its leaves in the Highlands of Scotland, the plant attracted insects by the thousands, however on my attempt to save it from the salt spray I moved it and in the moving KILLED it, so I need your help to identfy in order to replace it, there are more pictures available see my home page.
