Hi Everybody, Does anyone know what a gaura is and if so how to look after it.............l am told its name is a gaura, it has ovate leaves bending over with lovely delicate pink flowers a long the branches..........donot know how to add photos, sorry about that.Buzby28

Hello Buzby I have Gaura 'corries gold' I dont do anything to it apart from feeding it etc in the growing season and so far its survived I dont cut off any foliage in the hope its gets some protection, but I live in the south east. Several members have them.

Hi Buzby. I also have a few pretty pink and white gaura, and don't do ANYTHING to them - just enjoy seeing them come up year after year!

Hi again everybody. thank you so very much for all the replies.........l could have looked in a gardening book l suppose, but it is much more interesting to find out what other people have grown and how they have dealt with problems,if any !!!!!!!!!! l am on my own now and like a bit of a chat aswell lol...Many thanks again.

I have several gauras here, Buzby.
They are perennials, so will die down as soon as frosts appear and then emerge again in the spring.
I have pink ones and some white ones and they come in various heights too.
They're very easy to look after, not needing special care.
They prefer full sun but will tolerate partial shade.
