These really need to be removed to a frost free place, like a greenhouse or a conservatory.

I have several standard Fuchsias on my balcony & every year I put them in the most sheltered corner of my balcony for the winter. They are inside a big plastic bag 3x3x3ft their heads stick out of the top but they have survived every winter we have had that way for at least 6 or 7 years now. Just a couple of days ago I put them back in the bag for the winter.
