I have recently dug up a small part of my flower bed to grow vegetables next spring. I had a small cllump of Aconomites and several clumps of welsh poppies in this area. Will the soil be affected by any of these as I know the aconomites are very poisonous?.

The aconites and poppies won't have any toxic effect on the soil. You will find that they have set lots of seeds and you will have to keep weeding seedlings out of the beds in years to come.
