is it possible to move my chusan palm which is now about 6 ft in height and has grown out of the space in which it is planted

I would move it in late spring or summer, since the roots onlygrow when the soil is warm. If it's in a container, you could move it to a larger container, but it should be in a heated greenhouse or indoors for best results with that.
