We have a lovely mature Oliander in a big pot at work, it’s currently attracting a lot of flies! Does anyone know why it’s started to attract flies?

probably a secretion of some sort that they feed on. is it in flower at the moment?

Hmm...they don't attract flies here, and they are a major landscape plant here. It is a little hard to see, but it looks like the oleander is infested with some kind of scale, and the flies may be after the honeydew that they secrete.

How do I say thanks?
