Do I take off the bottom brown leaves of my codyline - they look dead?

On plant Phormium

Answers

Welcome, Margaret!
That works for either plant, though sometimes Phormium leaves are stubborn, and have to be cut off. Phormiums are different from Cordylines, though, and both have differences in other aspects of how they should be grown.
