Wind battered phormium

I have some pretty large phormiums that have taken a real battering with the winds and look very sorry for themselves, what should I do with them - sorry I don't have a picture. Sue Peake

You can trim them. Cut the offending leaves off as low down at the base as you can get to. The are really quick growers and will come back smiling.
