I have a Ligularia Dentanta 'Desdemona' which has flowered this year for the first time. Do I cut the seed heads off or leave the whole plant to die down for winter?

I have a Ligularia and every year it get eaten so much by the slugs that there are virtually no leaves left. I saw an established one in an open garden I visited and it was beautiful.
Think I will try and move it for next year. It is against an East facing fence, shall I move it to a South facing postiion Seaburngirl?

its more a question of moisture really as i have seen them in quite deep shade.

if it is a young plant i would be tempted to dead head it. then let it die back for the winter. Its a nice plant.
