It can be, guest - I do dig up quite a lot of seedlings and occasionally split a clump. It's not impossible, though. At least it's reliable and grows in shade and sun - so useful, too.

Yes, the one in my garden seeds around but they come out easily. The parent plants produce the odd rhizome too and spread out but these just get chopped off or given away. Nice plant and useful as Spritz says.
