Hi
I have a dark red small Acer bush ( 5 years old) in the ground in my front garden (sunny position) however I have noticed whit splashes on some of my leaves. The branches look okay and I have new green leaves underneath. I don't want to lose this lovely plant - any suggestions/help would be very much appreciated .

Given that you say it is in a sunny position, they prefer partial shade, I suspect it got rained on and the the sun shone on and has burnt the leaves however a photo would be useful.

Yes a photo would be useful - when you say 'white splashes' that might mean something has splashed all over the plant. Damage from wind or exposure to very hot sunlight in the middle of the day usually shows as frazzled, shrivelled edges to the leaves, with similar marks in the body of the leaf.

How do I say thanks?
