one apple tree, every year 1/2 lb apples. last year slight curl to the leaves and apples turned browny in colour. this year still slight curl on leaves fruit set then all fell off. what's wrong and what do i spray with ? (have considered copper sulphate.)

No harm in trying a dose of Epsom salts in case of Magnesium deficiency. Try the chemist for a small pack and add it to a bucket of water and empty over the ground near the tree. If it is an element deficiency such as this, the effect can be very noticealble quite quickly. Try a dose of chelated iron too while you are at it......to be found in ericaceous fertilisers. Those are the 2 main ones that change leaf colour apart from drought.
