Suspended algae--"pea soup syndrome"? Just wait, it will soon balance out.
Scum? Skim it off, and grow water plants to reduce nitrogen content of the water.
String algae? Also reduce nitrogen content, and maybe treat with a non-toxic peroxide-based algae remover--there are several on the market.
