Well don't use them instead of pepper, I'm not sure whether they're edible and they may even be toxic. You can use them for growing more Cordylines from seed, though they take a long time to become decent sized plants. Next year, cut the flower stem down as it fades to prevent seed forming, gives the plant more energy for growing.
