hi, i am trying to dig up a silver leafed bush that grows yellow flowers and plant knopfophia instead. is it ok to treat the remaining roots of the bush with root killer and plant knopfophia sraright away?

Not really - anything that kills roots isn't usually too selective about what else it kills, but it does depend what you're using. Silver leafed with yellow flowers could be Phlomis, Senecio or Santolina - any of these should be possible to dig out completely with a bit of energy and a decent garden fork.

How do I say thanks?
