Can anyone identify this plant please ? it isn't mine it belongs to a neighbour who asked for my help , she bought the large bulb 2 years ago for approx £20 but can't remember what it was ,( how can you forget after paying that much for a bulb ) it's already 4 ft tall and has huge leaves almost 2 ft in length .. I wonder if its a Cardiocrinum giganteum .

Answers
Yup Cardiocrinum giganticum probably take at least another year to flower and will then die but the bulb will have produced offshoots that will grow and flower several years later

I bought one of these this year and it's growing nicely. That price makes the £6 I paid for mine look a bargain!
