Does anyone know the name of an everlasting bunch onion; which can be planted out to form a bunch then split up to grow on again next year and then every following year in the same manner?

I have some and allI was told by the person who originally gave some to me, was that they were called either everlasying onions or welsh onions. Sorry if that is not much help. diadon
