I am growing kidney (runner) beans in troughs and the lower leaves are being eaten by something, both at the edges and within the main body of the leaves, some of which are now skeletal. The plants are growing and climbing well and I cannot find any caterpillars, bugs etc on the leaves. What can be the cause please?
