Hi Itaca,

Malus floribunda is a wild (Japanese) species.

Malus x zumi 'Golden Hornet' is not a form, or even a hybrid of M. floribunda, but is a hybrid between Malus baccata var. mandshurica and the Japanese M. sieboldii.
