I would like to create a new border and grass over 2 existing borders can I use the grass sods from the new border or should I reseed. Thanks for any advice.

Thank you bulbaholic. Our lawns are a delicate shade of brown so hoping for a downpour.Would actually like it to last for 24 hours!

Yes, why not. Make sure that the turves are in reasonable condition and cut them square so that they fit together nicely. You will also need to ensure that they are well watered after laying (isn't it supposed to chuck it down tonight on the east coast?).
