Try adjusting the brightness of your screen, you may have accidentally made it brighter for some reason. Mine looks as always - though a little slow to load.

You might also take into consideration the ambient lighting in the room in which you have your computer. It might be too dark or too bright.

Mines ok too, behind the writing is off white so thats mostly what I see.....
checking the brightness is a good idea...

I do wear glasses and have regular check ups .
The colour on ipad is fine but when i go to desktop pc to upload photos the green is really bright
Not done anything to the controls.

thanx mg for that very reasen scotkat go to the optitions . its better safe than sorry . im not trying to scare you but it could be what your eyes join too and its the doctor you mite need . it will put your mind at rest or its better to be seen now than later .

A lot of computers (particularly laptops) will automatically adjust the screen brightness - you may not notice it 99 times out of 100. I'm forever turning the brightness down on my Mac and my iPad even though I've turned off the auto adjustment on both.
If it's just the green, it might be worth checking your screen settings. Sometimes you can change things without realising.

Not on mine Kath..still a subtle dark green border at each side,of a light grey /off white ,central panel..no Adverts either..
