Should you or shouldn't you? Just called around the corner shop and bumped into two more mature gentlemen discussing their potatoes. One said not to let them go into flower, the other one said, 'of course you do' Each of them were adament they were right. I've got them growing in buckets, and they're just flowering now. So should I let them flower, or should I pick the flowers off? Thanx

Thankyou Owdboggy. Their flowers ars quite pretty actually. Will give a bit more colour to the garden. ha ha.

It actually makes little difference whether they flower or not or if you remove them or leave them. In fact many modern varieties do not flower at all.
