Hi, is it absolutely essential that you move it ? , the roots are very brittle and easily damaged, but if it has to be moved, I would leave it until spring, just as you see signs of new growth, when you replant, plant it a couple of inches deeper than it is now, and if it shows signs of dieing, prune it back to within 2 or 3 inches of the soil, and it MAY recover, and send up new shoots, Derek.
