How long will it take Bergenia flower spikes to grow? 2 yrs ago I put 2 in containers & planted them out in various borders this year.Now there are 6 plants (one is the size of 2 small thumbs) I can't remember seeing flower spikes in the spring.....The leaves are very glossy in great condition

As far as I know they are not a dwarf variety. The containers were full of stuff so now in the border they will take off.

They sound very small or did you chose a dwarf variety? Once established they through up flowers in the spring as you already know. the leaves of mine are the size of dinner plates.
