My pittisporum has grown to approx 12 feet and my wife is complaining of the mess it is making on our patio. When would be the best time to prune it and how far back should I take it.

do you mean prune the wife or the plant lol .i would do it in early spring unless its getting that bad . if thats the case i would do it now .
