My aquilegia's have finished flowering now...how long should I leave them alone, how can I ensure that they flower again next year?

On plant Aquilegia

All we ever do is to chop them down, removing all the old flowering stems, unless you want baby ones all over the place. They often flower again in August.

How do I say thanks?
