Hi, very new to growing my own, but blundered through and had some sucses last year. Just digging through to plant spuds and found a load of maggots eww! how do I get rid?. Can I still plant there?

If you leave the area exposed for a few hours the birds will eat the maggots for you. More important though is to know which 'grub' they are - can you describe what they look like?
