My asparagus is in its 3rd year and was looking forward to harvesting it. So far all I have is 2 spears from about 14 plants. Is the werather in the west of ireland too wet for asparagus or has the severe frost killed it.

also asparagus is quite labour intensive without much product at the best of times hence the price realy .

a bit of bothe i fear . im know expert but im finding all plants and trees are late opening there leaves and growing .
