I have a plant with purple butterfly shaped leaves and a pink flower, can anyone identify this for me please.

Thank you Susiespearing. This was indeed the plant I have and I was able to find a picture of it on the Web to confirm this.

I'm taking a wild stab at this without a photo but could it be Oxalis Purpurea?
