Has anyone heard the latest news about Lilac Trees.,shrubs having a fungal disease of some sort , evidently it was on teletext on tv the day and i missed reading about it



My neighbour lost several lilacs to a disease a few years ago.

Have a lilac growing under the fence from next door. It looks really healthy.

i have a beautiful lilac in my garden its been there for 10yrs or more,
i would be really sad if i lost it,its looking fab at the moment.
fingers crossed it stays that way.

There has been a scare about Lilacs for the last 10 years or so. Easy enough to spot, the leaves begin to look as if someone has set fire to them. No cure, dig out and burn Sorry.

i visite dmy aunt this afternoon and she said she heard that wistyria had a virus she read that in the paper
