mine have never been eaten

when mine arrived from the nursery there was a slug having a quiet munch. so yes they will be eaten but they are not the first choice, that goes to delphiniums and hostas in my garden.

slugs have eaten mine in previous seasons. I have found that if you can protect them for the first few weeks until the shoots are about 6 inches high the plant becomes less attractive to the slugs
